Being a poker player, at some point in your career you may think as how to play a three of a kind against a high pair in the wonderful game of poker. Generally, people fall in despair during such situation; however, you can be a winning player afterwards. If you are capable enough to fold your pair of Aces while there is a three of a kind with your opponent, but the same becomes difficult for your opponent if the situation reversed, then you will surely become able to achieve higher profits in the long run. In your poker life, these will be regarded as the best moments.
This awful situation seems to be known to every poker player. While you opt for a call and get surprise afterwards that your opponent has a three of a kind. However, sometimes, you cannot deny the happening of certain situations and the same happens to be the funniest thing, even when you often know that this will happen..
Sometimes, players move on a diehard track i.e. never folding the pair of Aces in the situation like this. The opposite view can also be taken by other players who always assume the worst to happen and they believe that there is always the three of a kind with their opponents and this is the reason why they always tend to fold their high pairs. Here, if we leave all the focus from the pot, the game and from any other thing, our entire focus remains on the thing that we are losing our hand. Often, we further neglect to ask ourselves as to why we have lost the hands.
Get rid of this recurring tilting along with thinking as to how many pots and hands have gone wasted. You should always hear the voice from your inner soul and accept that you have beaten. Think, what you would do if you are feeling bad about any round. On the other hand, it would also be better to listen yourself to get more benefits, more often.
You may have heard about the over pairs that are constructed with the cards having high value under the top pair. However, you cannot play the over pairs here as in this way, you will win the small pots, but will tend to lose the larger ones. Playing over pairs is either difficult to play when the game is followed with the following cards played down including 10C, 4H, JackC, 10D and QueenC, while having a pair of Aces in the hand.
You can here follow a good piece of advice. Stay calm while you are playing Aces. No need is here for the pot to grow disproportionately. If you are engaged in playing a no limit game, then also it should not be ridiculously higher. You have the power to control the pot size.
The final tip here is to carefully study the cards that are lying on the table along with studying the flop carefully.
